Merry Christmas and a Happy Halloween

Where to begin?
I do not know.
Where have we been?
School, school, school, school, school, work, school, school, library, school, library.
What have we been up to?
Homework and the following...
Did we survive?
Barely.
Are we excited to be done with school?
YES!!!!

Well here is a quick update on the last couple months of our life. Halloween weekend Kevin's old roommate Jim and his wife Lauren came down for a visit and stayed at our place. It was lots of fun. Friday night we went to our ward party and then to the haunted mill (insert girly screams here from Kevin) and then saturday we hung out and relaxed, went to big Juds, and watched some football. I was lazy and did not get any pictures of me and Kevin in our Halloween costumes but I keep telling him I am going to make him dress up again (Kevin doesn't like dressing up) so we can get pictures. But until that happens you will have to settle for pictures of the Boys at Big Juds and a few of our halloween decorations. Overall it was a quick fun weekend and we really enjoyed having Jim and Lauren up for a visit.

The next weekend Kevin and I celebrated our 9 month anniversary at a Colin Raye concert. He was very good and we both really enjoyed it.

Next was Kevins Birthday. I think i was more excited for Kevins Birthday then he was. According to him birthdays were never big deals but to me they are. I try to make it a good day, but considering I came down with a nasty cold that day it was not as good as i had hoped. My mother was nice enough to step in and make him dinner and I baked a couple cakes. One for our family to eat and one for his face. A couple days later we had a friend birthday party for him where he was lucky enough to get another cake in the face.

One weekend my sister Becca and her husband went to Utah and left there 3 children with my parents. We decided we would rescue them for a day and took the kids out to lunch and bowling. They were very cute and like I have said before great birth control.

Thanksgiving was mixed in this time somewhere. We had the whole week off of school however it did not feel like it because we did homework the whole time. The 20 credits were really starting to catch up to me and I had a lot to do if I was going to survive finals. Thanksgiving day was good though. We had dinner at my Uncle Bens and then played games with my family. We also got ourselves a Christmas tree and a few decorations that week and prepared our house for Christmas. I thought it turned out really cute.

Well that is what we have been up to, hope you enjoyed and thanks for your patience :)

P.S I got my student teaching placement. I will be teaching Junior and Senior English at Madison High School. I am very excited and a little nervous. I hope the students don't find out I am from Rigby. We are rivals in case you did not know.

Crawling to the finish line

Yes, we are still alive. However life has taken over and I have had no time to update the blog. We officially have 2 weeks of school left and 3 days of finals. FINALLY! This has been a busy semester and it seems like we are just trying to crawl to the finish line. So once this school race ends I will update on our life. Thanks for the patience :)
