A little Bump

As I got ready for work one day Kevin said that you could really see my baby bump. We took my first baby bump picture... I however was a little disappointed by the lack of bump in the picture so I took a second one pushing my stomach out as far as I could. I was about 22 weeks along.

Portland Thunder

Did I mention that we go to a lot of sporting events? A week after the Nike Hoop Summit, we made out way back to the Moda Center to enjoy an Arena Football game. The Portland Thunder are a new team this year and have Darren Thomas (former Oregon quarterback) as there quarter back. Arena football was a whole new world for both Kevin and I but fun to watch nonetheless. It was crazy to think that the basketball court we were at the week before could look so different.

Nike Hoop Summit

One of the best parts about living in Portland is having Nike here, not because we go shopping for Nike gear a lot but because they sponsor a lot of sports activities that we get to enjoy. One of these sporting events was the Nike Hoop Summit. Here the best high school basketball players in the U.S play against the best basketball players from other countries. So essentially it is the U.S against the world. Most of these players will be the top college recruits next year. The game was at the Moda Center and we had some awesome seats right behind the hoop. There was also lots of popular basketball people there.  One of the highlights was Kevin caught a shirt that they threw into the crowd. The game was really fun to watch and in the end the US won!

The Hammon Clan

Soon after my parents left from spring break Becca and Justin called and asked if they could come stay with us for a weekend while they attended a conference. I was so excited to have them come see us even if it was for a short time. And if they came it meant all there little renegades got to come as well which was what I was really excited about.

They got here on Wednesday night and we just spent the night hanging out and relaxing. Thursday I took a day off work and kept 4 of the 5 kids, while they went to a Chiropractic conference. We spent the day playing the wii, going to the park, and getting our nails done (well at least the girls) Brigham got to choose the treat afterwards since he didn't get his nails done. Friday they spent the day entertaining themselves in Portland with the tram food carts and then we all had dinner at the McKays a good family friend that used to live in Idaho.  Saturday due to rain we decided not to go to the zoo and instead headed over to OMSI. Everyone seemed to really enjoy OMSI and we were all warn out by the time we left that we just had a low key night and relaxed. The Hammon clan then headed back home to Idaho on Sunday.
