Oh time where have you gone?

It is crazy to think that me and Kevin have been married for over two weeks now. Everyone keeps asking me if "Marriage is all it is cracked up to be" and i can honestly answer yes so far it has been!! Although i have to admit i am kind of excited for March madness to be over so i can have my husband back on the weekends :). Anyways things have been going good and we are staying very busy with school and trying to find jobs and all that fun stuff.

March is a birthday month for the family it is Jeff Kevin's brother the 16th, my dad Verls the 17th, and Kevins Dad Staceys and my brother Devins the 18th. We had some fun party's for my dad and brother, with lots of food and cake. MMMMMM!! It was a surprise party for my brother and he was actually surprised. I was impressed Charm pulled it off. We got to swim and hang out with the family some more which was a lot of fun. Happy Birthday Boys!

My Dad and all the grandkids

Happy 30th Big Brother

My niece Nikole

My sister Annalee is here from Germany and it has been so fun to spend time with her and the girls. I went down early to Rigby to "help" with my dad's birthday party, or should i say "play". It was so nice outside and i couldn't resist spending a couple hours on the tramp with the girls. ( A little secret about me; I LOVE THE TRAMP, i would build a house full of tramps if i could). Anyways i thought i would share some of the pictures me and the girls took.

And finally i have had a ton of requests for wedding pictures. The actual pictures from the photographer are not done yet... she said about a month... i am getting really anxious. But any how i stole a few from my sisters that they took outside the temple. So here is a sneak peak to the wedding. And doesn't Kevin look handsome in a tux? I think so. Anyways Goodbye March and snow and Hello April and spring!

A little update before the big day

It’s official we are down to two days. This has definitely been one of those experiences that during the process seems like time was going by very s-l-o-w… But now that I look back at it, it seems as though it flew by. It is hard to comprehend the fact that it is only two days away. My mother is probably really frustrated with me because I can’t seem to wrap my mind around the fact that it is my wedding, so I have been very carefree throughout the whole thing, while she has been frantically running around town getting things and stressing out. But it is now down to the last sprint and things seem to be going well. Like I said my mother has been on top of things and has everything ready for the reception. She and the rest of my family will be spending all day tomorrow decorating. While I spend it finishing up homework and packing for the honeymoon.

I must admit though that even though I have tried to act really calm throughout this whole thing there have been so many emotions going through me. And poor Kevin had to deal with me. At times there has been a lot of stress, money, school, planning can really get to you. But along with stress there are the emotions of excitement, and anxiousness, fear, and happiness, and at times grumpiness. Through it all I have decided that by planning a wedding you pretty much sign a waiver giving everything, and everyone permission to put you on an emotional rollercoaster at all times. But now that it is almost over i am just trying to enjoy it, and focus on how excited i am to spend eternity with Kevin.

For other news Kevin moved into our new apartment last weekend. I have to mention that when he moved in it took him two carloads. Me on the other hand is a different story. All week I have been moving stuff up their… one trailer load, two of my carloads, and one of his; and I am still not done. As I gathered things up from my room I mentioned to my mother that I hoped when Kevin saw all my crap he wouldn’t run. Lucky for me he didn’t. But anyways we have got things pretty much settled in our new apartment, it is little but we have a spare bedroom that will hold all the crap I talked about above. No pictures yet but I will work on that.

Also I have to thank everyone for the wonderful bridal showers. A few weekends ago we went down to Utah and Kevin’s grandma and aunts threw me a great bridal shower. It was fun meeting the family, I’m luck he has such a great family. Then Saturday my friends Jaycie, Brandi, and Hailey through me a wonderful friends bridal shower. It was nice to catch up with all my friends that I hadn’t seen in a long time, plus I got lots of “fun stuff.” Finally last night I had my final bridal shower with my family. Although at this one the men were included it was still lots of fun. Thanks everyone for all the preparation and wonderful gifts.

Love at first sight... or not

So i am not sure about his whole blog thing, or where to even begin. So i guess i will just fill you in on my life with Kevin thus far. We met in April 2009 and were FHE Brother and Sister. He was shy, i was loud, and lets just say there were not sparks flying. Although i do remember me and my roommates sitting around the table after we had dinner with them, and talking about how he was the only cute FHE brother we had. Our real story began in August during the 7 week break. There were not very many people who stayed up at school but Kevin had. We began hanging out as a group and i began to notice he was actually really cute. One night we played games and Kevin finally came out of his shell and was his goofy self and thats where i began to fall. I finally realized he was not so lame, and he realized i was not so crazy. One thing led to another and by September we were dating (at least then we were not brother and sister anymore). It was a crazy semester with lots of homework and other decisions to make but as you can see things went really well and here we are now getting hitched March 5, 2010 in the Idaho Falls Temple. I am off track but am taking a full load of classes online, living at home, and trying to plan a wedding. While Kevin is also going to school, working, and living up in Rexburg. This whole traveling thing is not very fun, but i feel bad complaining because i hear of all these people who only get to see each other on the weekends or every couple weeks. So a fifteen minute drive is not too bad. The wedding plans are coming along slowly. I must admit planning a wedding is not all it is hyped up to be. I really just want to get the planning and decision making over with and start my life with Kevin. But until then i will keep reminding myself i have eternity with him so i just need to be patient.
