Flash back to the Netherlands (Woodburn Tulip Festival).

One thing that Portland has brought us is great friends. In all honesty there were days when the adjustment to Portland was not so pleasant. I missed my family and the familiar comforts of Idaho. I have definitely grown to love Portland and a big part of that is the friends that we have gained in our move. This weekend happened to be packed with those great friends.

Friday night we went out to Casey's house (a friend of Kevins from school). He lives out in the country and invited everyone out for some horse back riding, skeet shooting, and a barbeque. With the weather being upper 70's it made for a great night.

Saturday the men volunteered to help another dental student move which meant that they also volunteered us. Luckily the move was quick so quick that we decided we had enough day left to go for another adventure. So we quickly grabbed lunch, packed the Pearsons van and headed to Woodburn for the tulip festival. The flowers were beautiful! It reminded me of the Netherlands alot (except it was a lot smaller and I could understand people ha ha). We spent a couple hours walking around and enjoying the beauty before we packed the van again and headed home. Welcome to Oregon summer we are already enjoying your presence.

My all time favorite picture of the day. Silly boy.
